The Australian Government has set up the F.I.R.B. (Foreign investment Review Board), which outlines the regulations associated with buying property in Australia. In the case of new and off-the-plan contracts, often the developer has already applied for a certificate from the F.I.R.B. meaning the purchaser is exempt from requiring approval.
Applications to purchase new and off-the-plan residential property are usually approved without conditions.
